2nd Annual North Pitt Baseball Alumni Game & Homerun Derby
Alumni Game: ***The 2nd annual North Pitt Baseball Alumni Game will be on Saturday, October 19, 2019. The cost to play is $10.00, which includes your meal ticket. The Seahorse Restaurant is catering the meal. Please help spread the word. If you plan of playing in the game, please sign-up by Friday October 11, 2019.
***Sign-Ups this year will be ONLINE. Go to www.northpittbaseball.com and visit the “Alumni Game” tab. Fill out the sign-up form. If you are having trouble registering this way, feel free to contact Coach Meadows (at 252-531-1961 or meadowr@pitt.k12.nc.us) to reserve your spot for the game. Spots are limited! All proceeds off of this awesome event will go towards facility renovations! We hope to see MANY former players of ALL AGES at this event! GO PANTHERS!
BBQ Chicken Plate Sell: Our current NPHS players are pre-selling BBQ Chicken plates as part of a fundraiser. Plates include ½ BBQ Chicken, Green Beans, and Potato Salad from the Seahorse Restaurant. Food plates can also be purchased for $10.00 per ticket for fans on a limited basis at the game. Pre-sold plates may be picked up from 12:00-3:00 at the Alumni Game, as The Seahorse Restaurant will be on site with hot food! We can also arrange delivery for groups and events!
Admission: We will be accepting donations of any size at the gate for fans and spectators. All proceeds will go towards baseball facility renovations and upkeep.
Schedule for the Day:
11:00 am: HOMERUN DERBY…..*Homerun Derby Trophies and CASH PRIZES awarded!
*$20.00 entry fee gets 10 swings
*You may buy-in as many rounds as you would like to hit. The best score from ONE 10-pitch round will be counted.
Point System:
1 point = 220 foot fence homerun
2 points = 280 foot fence homerun
3 points = Regular baseball field fence homerun
1:00 pm: 2019 ALUMNI GAME…….Teams divided accordingly, Player pitched, coach pitched, or pitching machine pitched will be determined after registration
12:00-3:00: Pick-up of BBQ Plates at North Pitt High School
3:00 pm-until: ALUMNI SOCIAL…… Lunch provided by The Seahorse Restaurant for all members of the Alumni Game with their $10.00 entry fee.
